Over the past couple of months, we have been blessed with donations earmarked for technology upgrades. The most prominent upgrade is the improvements to our Audio / Visual Streaming System. We have upgraded from a standalone cell phone on a tripod to a multi-camera streaming setup with three remote controlled cameras and a video mixer. Part of that upgrade will be an additional projector in the sanctuary and we are looking into ways of allowing our home bound or traveling viewers to see what is shown in the sanctuary.
Other Upgrades
We have been hard at work looking at other ways to improve the operational efficiency of our church as well as improve the services we provide at the most cost effiecient method possible. We have applied for and received Google for Nonprofits and Canva for Nonprofits services donations.
The Google for Nonprofits system will allow our chuch to have a central online repository of everything we do as well as improve collaboration using email, chat, video conferencing, and more.
Canva for Nonprofits is a great graphics and video editing tool. This will allow us to easily create in hosue grapics, ricchly animated presentations, edit videos, and so much more.
